His boxer portraits capture moments of stillness—before or after the fight. Gloves and faces dominate the compositions, blurring the line between triumph and defeat. Bold, dripping brushstrokes evoke sweat, blood, and exhaustion, holding the tension between combat and retreat, life and death.
